Three Little Kittens

Today's post will be different........No poem, just photos and stuff! Here's a short story that was told to me years ago by a French friend:

The scene is Paris in the middle of winter. Three little kittens named . . . . .

 Une, deux and Trois

. . . .were playing on the bank of the Seine river. They ventured out on the thin ice that had formed along the shore.

Suddenly, the sheet of ice broke off and started floating down stream with the three kittens aboard. The sun came out, the ice melted...........

and Une, Deux, Trois Quatre Cinq!!!!!!

STUFF:

Just a short explanation for my readers that don't "do" French.... Quatre is pronounce as "kaut"  and Cinq is pronounced a "sawnk". So the last line, which in French is 1.2.3.4.5, in English would be "one, two and three cats sank"
